Molly was raised in Pennsylvania. Molly began her professional stage career at the age of 13, at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater. The following year she was cast as Little Red Ridinghood in the Arden Theater s production of Into the Woods for which she was nominated for the Barrymore Award. She reprised the role as she made her Broadway debut at 15 in the production of Into the Woods, on Broadway. Molly was nominated for an award for the Drama League Award. Molly also performed in the Broadway version of Fiddler on the Roof in 2004. She was a student at Princeton University as a Triangle Club member and graduated with an B.A. Her graduation was in 2008 and she earned the degree of B.A. Also, she appeared in the Disney film College Road Trip, playing Wendy Greenhut. After graduation Molly appeared in a variety of Off-Broadway productions, including End Days at Ensemble Studio Theater and also in TV shows, including Royal Pains and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly has appeared in regional plays like The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as part of Barrington the Stage Company and the The North Shore Music Theater's production of 2008 as well as the Westport Country Playhouse 2010 production of The Diary of Anne Frank where she played Anne. Molly is well-known as the character Ali, a teenage daughter in Paranormal Activity 2, a film from 2010, in which Jack Burditt wrote and directed. ABC comedy Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen.
